FLAVOR FROM REAL INGREDIENTS

Our traditional, handmade gelato is made from only the freshest ingredients available. That's the only way to make the true, beautiful, natural flavors shine through without the preservatives, artificial flavors, or fillers. Most all of our ingredients are locally sourced, and because we buy fresh ingredients, our flavors reflect the local harvests of the season. Velvetti gelato is made daily with love and dedication from recipes have been passed down for several generations.

THOUGHTFUL RECIPES

Across our variety flavors, you’ll always find an enticing new recipe to spark your curiosity, indulge your palate, or introduce you to a new tradition. For example, in our  Vanilla Bean we add a dash of lemon zest to enhance the floral vanilla notes. And in our Double Dark Chocolate, we blend semi-sweet chocolate chips with a hint of vermouth. It’s recipes like these that lead to flavors that excite from the very first bite.

DEDICATED TO THE PROCESS

We slow cook our ingredients in fresh milk for 45 minutes to distill maximum flavor, similar to how French chefs might use a bain-marie (or water bath) technique. We steep fresh mint leaves to create the base for our Velvet Mint. We blend fresh Valencia orange pulp to cook into Valencia Dream for a fresh burst of juicy flavor and lovely texture. These are just a few examples that reflect our belief that there are no shortcuts when it comes to crafting the most delicious gelato you've ever tasted.
